American Library Associations Best Childrens Books of 2010

best childrens booksEvery year the American Library Association picks its best childrens books and presents them with the John Newbery Medal to the author that has made the most contribution toward American literature and the Randolph Caldecott Medal for the childrens most distinguished picture book. The 2010 winners have been picked and they are; When You Reach Me by Rebecca Stead, the winner of the Randolph Caldecott Medal. The honorees go to Claudette Colvin: Twice Toward Justice, The Evolution Of Calpurnia Tate, The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P. Figg and Where The Mountain Meets The Moon. A great new reading list for young children and teenagers.
